Bango was highly commended at the EMMAs 2012 for mobile payment services provided to Facebook, in the Most Effective Mobile Payment Solution category. The EMMAs has been running for the last 3 years and recognises creativity and excellence in the mobile industry.

Business Excellence Awards 2012

Bango's CEO Ray Anderson was named 'Business Person of the Year' at the 2012 Business Excellence Awards held in Cambridge, UK. Ray was recognised as one of the regions most successful entrepreneurs and a pioneer in the mobile web space.

Cambridge Computer Lab Ring Hall of Fame Awards 2012

Bango won Product of the Year at the Cambridge Computer Lab Ring Hall of Fame Awards 2012 for both Bango Payment and Analytics. The Hall of Fame Awards were established by the Ring, which is the Cambridge University Computer Laboratory Graduate Association, to celebrate the success of companies founded by Computer Laboratory graduates, one of which is Ray Anderson.

Mobile Entertainment Awards 2011

Bango was named the Best Transactions Provider 2011 at the sixth annual Mobile Entertainment awards ceremony. The winners were selected by a panel of 400 execs from all sectors of the industry. Bango was chosen in recognition as a leading payment processor for app stores (which includes BlackBerry World), a rapidly expanding network of direct operator billing connections, advanced micro payment capabilities and payment reporting fully integrated with the successful Bango Analytics product.

Mobile Entertainment Awards 2008

Bango has won the best billing provider for the second year in a row, at the Mobile Entertainment Awards 2008. The international ME Awards event, which rewards creativity, innovation and those helping to drive the mobile sector, attracted nearly 400 delegates from over 120 companies in media, technology and entertainment from around the world. In addition, Bango's customers also won awards, including Quickplay, Sky, SonyBMG and EA Games.

Mobile Entertainment Awards 2007

Bango won the award for Best Billing Provider at the Mobile Entertainment Awards 2007 from a judging panel of over 400 industry experts. Mobile Entertainment Awards 2006

Bango's CEO Ray Anderson received a special award for "Outstanding contribution to mobile entertainment" at the first ever ME Awards. In addition, Bango customers – MTV, Universal Music, Enpocket, Fonestarz and Cherrysauce – also won awards for their own contributions to the mobile entertainment industry.

MEF Awards 2006

Bango has won a highly coveted "Meffy" award at the Mobile Entertainment Forum's annual award ceremony in London, recognizing the impact Bango's direct-to-consumer offering is having on growing the mobile entertainment marketplace.

3GSM Awards 2006

2006 saw the launch of the Mobile Innovation Award, designed to encourage breakthrough technology in the mobile industry by bringing together small, young and start-up companies with industry investors and mobile operators. Bango was among one of the shortlisted companies.

CTIA Technology Marketing Award

CTIA's Technology Marketing Awards presented an opportunity for the industry to salute those who have successfully developed effective and creative promotional campaigns for wireless. Bango was a runner up in the Mobile Marketing category with the innovative Web Trigger service - taking users straight from Web to WAP.

Technology Innovation and Growth Awards

Ray Anderson, CEO of Bango was named Technology Entrepreneur of the Year at the Technology Innovation and Growth Awards. Considered the Academy Awards of the technology industry, the awards recognized the driving forces behind the technology industry now and in the future. Ray Anderson was praised fro re-entering the technology sector with another innovative business idea and bringing that to market.

New Media Age Effectiveness Awards 2005

At the New Media Age Effectiveness Awards 2005 Bango received the Business-to-business award. The Bango Service was acknowledged for its pivotal role in giving content providers a direct channel to market through mobile.
