Technical Customer Service Advisor - New York

We are looking for an experienced customer service advisor to join us at the cutting edge of mobile internet technology.

This is a challenging role where you will get involved in proactive projects as well as day-to-day customer service.

The job

  • Provide technical support for a variety of customers from members of the public to large corporate clients
  • Investigate technical issues and have ownership through to resolution
  • Account management for corporate clients
  • Analyze customer needs and think laterally to provide them with the best solution
  • Pre-sales and integration support
  • Help maintain and update product information
  • Keep up to date with technical developments in a fast moving industry

About you

  • Minimum 12 months customer service experience within a technology environment required (internet, proprietary software, mobile commerce, e-commerce)
  • Knowledge of web technologies such as HTML, WML, CSS or PHP essential
  • Experience of managing corporate accounts an advantage
  • Able to problem solve and juggle several priorities at once
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English essential, fluency in another language an advantage
  • College Degree preferred
  • Skilled at Microsoft Office a must

  • Based in New York City, NY, (Midtown)
  • Occasional travel to Bango headquarters in the UK and client offices required as necessary
