Customer Update March 12, 2007 |
|
Branding safe subscriptionsFor a while, you have been able to brand the Bango hosted subscription pages where the user sets up a subscription with you. Now, you can brand the "My subscriptions" on bango.net. This is where users view past payments and can cancel if they wish Why brand "My subscriptions"?Your users will only see your subscriptions, rather than others they may have set up with other Bango-enabled content providers. This means there's no leakage and with your branding at the top of the page, you keep users in your world. How do I do it?
If you already have branding configured for your package (or Bango number) then all subscription pages including the ones on bango.net are shown in your branding. A “Back” link is shown on the "My Subscriptions" page, taking the user back to your home phrase when they are finished managing their subscriptions. Click here to find out how to set up your home phrase. Kind regards Bango customer services | |
Knowing what worksIn our experience subscriptions work well in certain countries and with certain types of content. Check out the local market conditions or ask our advice on how to be successful with Safe Subscriptions. Explanation of Sales figuresIf you have permission to see the sales figures for your packages, these are shown above. Please note that these figures are total sales for your content. If you don't have any sales figures in the email, then the person who set up the Bango package has not given you permission to see this data. To view past customer updates, click here |
