Mobilize your brand

Time to get busy with your brand. It's a key time of year to start thinking about a big push in the pre-christmas market.

Because Bango understand mobile we can help leverage your brand across a range of specialist marketing channels. Here's a few things you can do to give your brand maximum impact before the holiday season:

Home phrase

A home phrase is the phonespelling of one of your Bango Numbers. It ensures phone users are sent to your homepage if they click 'Cancel' or 'Back' when making a payment, and it's used in Txt Triggers. If you haven't already set it - do it now! It's simple to set up. Just log in to Management tools, then choose Manage properties and scroll down to Property title then click the 'Edit' button to the right of 'Home Phrase'.

Yahoo! and mobile search

Use your brand as a keyword in mobile search advertising. Big names like Yahoo! have partnered with Bango to deliver targeted mobile searches, free of charge to Bango customers. Google also offer specialist mobile search advertising. Go to Bango.com and register your site with Yahoo! or register with other WAP specific search engines.

Free WAP.com

Use your home phrase or brand name in a WAP.com URL. WAP.com is an online community that works via word-of-mouth. Just point a Bango Number to your site and tell your customers to type the URL yourhomephrase.wap.com (where 'yourhomephrase' is the Bango Number or phonespelling) into their mobile browser. Your visitors can then share your site with their family and friends.

If you're a Target or Pro package holder, you can change the Bango mobile interface to match your own branding. To find out how to present a seamless payment interface to your consumers visit the Support center at Bango.com (login required).

Quickpay revenue growth

Following improvements to the Bango payment flow that made it easier and quicker for users to make additional payments, revenues rose by up to 30%. Top ups by credit card alone grew by 11% in the week following launch.
