Customer Update 14th July 2008

Measure the value of your mobile site by accurately counting unique visitors

We are happy to announce that the latest version of Bango Analytics, v3.0, will be available to all Bango customers shortly.

We are holding a webinar at 4pm GMT / 11am ET tomorrow (Tuesday 15th July 2008) to show customers the new page tracking functionality. So register here to listen in on the webinar.

We have made it easier for you to implement analytics on your mobile sites. All you have to do to is add a line of HTML code to the pages of your mobile site and Bango will automatically gather information about your users in the background - without any disruption to the flow of your site or your users.

As soon as you add the page tracking HTML code to your site and a user visits the pages you are tracking, you will be able to see stats pouring in. Some of which will include:

  • A count of how many unique visitors you have on your site.
  • Determine what content on your mobile website is most popular.
  • Get valuable info on their country, operator and device
  • See the value and ROI of your different marketing and advertising campaigns.
  • Benefit from the industry standard of analytics for your mobile site

To help orientate you with the Analytics centre, we have updated the Knowledge base with Analytics-specific information and answers to common questions that have come up in testing.

Have a look at the Bango Blog for an excellent overview of why you need to track page visits to your mobile site, as well as the marketing and advertising campaigns you are using to promote your content.

Explanation of Sales figures

If you have permission to see the sales figures for your packages, these are shown above. Please note that these figures are total sales for your content. If you don't have any sales figures in the email, then the person who set up the Bango package has not given you permission to see this data.
