Bango Nexus is coming to Germany!
Bango Nexus is being held in Munich on October 25, 2006. Come and meet the companies that are helping consumer brands sell their mobile content direct-to-consumers in the German marketplace. Million Message Madness
Based on its success earlier this year, Bango is bringing back Million Message Madness by providing up to one million free messages to help your users spread the word about your services.
Simply say to your customers that they can "Tell a friend" about your site for free, i.e. use this as the text link " Tell your friends about this site for FREE!". If you don't have a "Tell a friend" link on your site, then insert it into your mobile site at key points. Your customers can then click the link and send a message to their friends telling them how great your site is. Normally the user has to pay to send the message, but for 7 days they can do it for FREE!
Here's what you need to do...
- On your WAP site include wording "Tell a friend - FREE ".
- Link to http://bango.net/sendfriend.aspx?sendbango=xxx where xxx is the Bango Number of your site. It must be the free entry page in your site.
- When users click through, they can send the free "Tell a friend" message.
This works world-wide so now is a great time to get your international community motivated - especially in those countries where the cost of sending SMS text messages is high.
This offer starts on 5 November and will terminate at midnight on 12 November 2006 or after one million messages have been sent, whichever is earlier. More information about the "Tell a friend" service can be found here.
