Drive traffic with Yahoo! mobile search
75% of mobile web users search for the content they want*
Exactly a year ago we announced an agreement with Yahoo! to bring you the power of Yahoo mobile search. So we thought now would be a good time to remind you to make the most of this opportunity to increase traffic to your site.
Make sure your site is found
There are three ways to ensure that customers searching Yahoo! for content find your site:
- You can submit your site to Yahoo! free of charge from the Bango Management Tools. Navigate to the 'Search and Discovery' section and then 'Yahoo! Mobile Search Submission'. Click 'Submit your site', then enter your details. You can submit as many sites as you wish.
- Submit your site to Yahoo! directly here. You will need to register for a Yahoo user ID if you do not already have one. You can then submit your site URL for Yahoo!'s crawler to explore. You can also submit a data feed if you have one.
- In your Bango Management tools, navigate to the Search and Discovery section and then 'Get listed in search engines'. Here you can give us top level information about your site and content. Shortly we will begin promoting this across several mobile search platforms worldwide.
