Customer Update 19th May 2008

Which campaigns deliver the best results?

Have you ever wondered whether Google AdWords deliver better results than JumpTap, Medio or Yahoo? To spend money on mobile marketing this type of data is crucial.

We know that many of you already run multiple campaigns across different networks and want an unbiased comparison between each. So we have launched a new goal comparison report within analytics to help. This allows you to measure the effectiveness of multiple campaigns against a specific goal - giving you the impartial data needed to focus your campaigns onto the ones creating the highest ROI for your site.

Simply log into your Bango management tools and go to the analytics tab. Click on the visitor's option on the side menu and choose the Goal comparison tool. First select a tracking link for the goal you would like to measure against - it could be a payment link, a link between pages or a form submission etc. Next choose some start points, typically these will be Bango links you have used as destination URLs in your banner ads and search marketing - but they can also be other links between pages on your own site.

Your results will show the total number of visitors seen at your goal and on how many people clicked on each of your campaigns. Between these totals you can see the percentage of traffic from each campaign that reached your goal and what percentage that was of your overall goal traffic.

It would be great to hear what you think of this new functionality. Post any comments on the Forums.
