Bango mobile subscriptions - Bango is about to launch a brand new repeat billing service that's designed to restore confidence in mobile subscriptions. It's available to Pro and Target package holders at no extra cost. Our secure service overcomes the problems associated with Premium SMS subscriptions to offer greater usability and deliver regular revenues across a range of mobile content. There's little wonder that Premium SMS subscriptions received bad press in the past. Unreliable and difficult to manage, consumers often couldn't tell what they had subscribed to - with limited or no information about how to cancel the service. So what's so different about Bango subscriptions? Well, for one thing it's obvious what you're getting. Consumers can see the Terms and Conditions of their service on each payment page. We tell them they're paying a subscription, not a one-off item. And subscribers can stop the service at any time - putting them in control.
Device detection can help you tell which mobile device your consumers use, then offer compatible content that will work on their handset. Repeat access is also easy. The Bango Fingerprint identifies each individual, so they don't have the hassle of typing passwords when returning to the subscription service. Subscriptions management You manage mobile subscriptions in the same way as regular payments, via Management Tools at Bango.com. Choose from daily or weekly payments (for example, every 10 days or every 4 weeks and so on) and you can opt for an initial charge that differs from any subsequent payments, including a free trial period. Subscription payments will be available across all billing channels that permit it. These include Premium SMS, operator billing, credit card and PayPal. Local requirements such as Payforit are implemented as required. Plan ahead We're launching Bango subscriptions in December 2006. Right now you might want to start thinking about what type of content to offer your subscribers. You'll want to give regular access to content that is refreshed periodically, so subscribers get new ringtones or wallpapers every subscription period.
