Expand into Portugal with DimoWe're offering you a unique opportunity to advertise your content to Portuguese mobile users via Dimo, a brand new storefront. Dimo (Directorio Movel) is a WAP site developed by three Portuguese mobile operators - TMN, Vodafone and Optimus, who have a total of 12 million subscribers. It's an exciting initiative by all three operators to promote off-portal services to their consumers. Dimo provides access to a range of mobile WAP sites like yours on a directory-style storefront. There'll be a common brand and logo for the site and it will contain information about things like service providers and devices. We could showcase your branded WAP site on a special "This month's news" (Lancamentos do mes) on sign-up, to promote and deliver your content - whether it's ringtones, images, games or messaging - to the Portuguese market.
How it worksBango has already integrated your site with operator billing on Vodafone, TMN and Optimus. To display your site on the Dimo website and WAP site, you must choose relevant keywords and write a description of your content. Your keywords and description will be seen by consumers when they visit Dimo, to help identify your content and send traffic to your site. There'll also be a link to Dimo from the TMN, Optimus and Vodafone operator portals. Portuguese or English?Your site doesn't have to be in Portuguese, but the description and keywords must be. Bango can help with source translation if you need it. Register your interest nowAssign a Bango Number as an entry point to your site, then register a keyword and description on the Bango Directory (it's ok to use English). Just send us your keyword and description to support@bango.com if you want to be in the first release of Dimo. We'll contact you when it's time to launch. Get ready to be part of this exciting new opportunity! Kind regards Bango customer services |
