Mobile web billing specialist wins second award in two years

Bango received the award for Best Billing Provider at the Mobile Entertainment Awards 2007, its second prize in as many years following the “Outstanding contribution to mobile entertainment” award picked up by Bango’s CEO Ray Anderson last year.

Organized and hosted by Mobile Entertainment magazine, the ME Awards celebrate innovation and achievement in the mobile content space and the winners were chosen by a voting panel of over 400 industry executives.

The Best Billing Provider award was collected by Martin Harris, Bango’s SVP of Sales, at the prestigious presentation ceremony on 18th September at The Brewery in London. The showbiz style event brought together key players from the mobile entertainment industry, from content developers and publishers, to handset vendors and mobile operators.

“It’s great that a panel of over 400 industry experts have recognized the value of Bango’s unique approach to billing mobile users. Bango’s BillRank technology integrates a wide range of billing providers to give easy, low cost global coverage. Interestingly, nearly all the other nominees for this award have already integrated with Bango to support us in our quest.”Martin Harris SVP of Sales at Bango
