Role
We are looking for an energetic, creative and flexible Senior Project Manager to join our team. Someone able to meet both the current and future evolving challenges in project delivery that we are facing as a positive consequence of our continued growth and the acquisition of new customers. You are expected to pro-actively share your experience with the team and become an ambassador of the best practices of Project Management.
Responsibilities
- Drive projects to meet clearly defined goals, effectively, on time, and to budget.
- Work across all stakeholder groups to refine project scope and deliverables.
- Act as a key ‘conscience of the business’ during key project phases and milestone.
- Coordinate internal planning activities and collaborate with external 3rd parties.
- Own the project (or group of projects), with clear communication plans and reporting.
- Control project scope creep (utilising change requests with sales when required).
- Create clear plans to succeed, considering customer priorities, timelines, functionality and
- resource planning and availability.
- Highly adaptable to complex situations, making clear decisions, or escalating decisions when
- needed to remove blockers.
- Pro-actively suggest and take ownership of process improvements, always moving Bango
- forwards in engagement effectiveness.
- Build lasting relationships with partners of different hierarchical levels.
Essentials
- Excellent project management skills.
- Innovative approach to defining and implementing continuous process improvements.
- Be an ‘example’ to colleagues in your profession.
- Sound technical fundamentals, experienced with IT software integration projects, and Software as a Service ways of working.
- Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal).
- Strong work ethic, with an eye for details, and a willingness to challenge the status quo.
- Flexibility, reasonably meeting customer needs across time zones when required.
Desirables
- Experience with program management or customer relationship management would be valuable.
- Experience working with Network Operators and/or within the Payments sector.
- Strong negotiation skills, with 'win win' mentality across project scope and timescales.
- Able to travel occasionally to work onsite with customers and global partners.
- Experience delivering international projects across multiple countries, time zones and
- languages.
- PMI, Prince2 or similar accredited project management accreditation(s).
