We are currently recruiting a driven and experienced Technical Sales Consultant (Technical Presales, Sales Engineer) to join our global Team.
Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities include:- Present the technical aspects of the standard product vision, roadmap and functionality in detail to customer prospects and be able to explain how the product is able to address both technical and business problems.
- Conduct product demonstrations at meetings, conferences, seminars, etc.
- Provide guidance to functional and technical elements of proactive proposals as well as RFIs/RFPs and support the Sales Lead in the creation of responses.
- Support the product evaluation process and creation of any demos, define success criteria in conjunction with the Sales Leader and the Bango technical teams such as Product, BA, Deliveries etc
- Provide customer technical information and requirements, and support the Bango deliveries functions in creating Services Estimation and associated Statement of Work (SOW)/CR/PIF and be a stakeholder in the review of documentation to be provided back to the customer
- Support the handover to the deliveries and technical consulting teams for non-standard customer engagements and for Project INitiation for standard projects as needed
- Be a technical resource for product questions and assist in the documentation of product capability for partners and others through knowledge platforms
- Provide product improvement and roadmap feedback to Product Management using the internal process and associated tools
- Support the technical/deliveries aspects for creation of a clear, effective handover pack on deal wins

Essentials
- Excellent communicator at various stakeholder levels, over email, VC/telephone and in person for global partners.
- Must be able to lead customer conversation confidently, influencing the decision-making process based on relationship building and actively listening to the customer needs.
- Excellent problem solver and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of Web API’s, business processes and SaaS models.
- Experience in supporting customer sales interactions with technical and product knowledge.
- Experience in generating high quality, accurate and effective documentation.
- Able to drive multiple ongoing projects at once, across multiple time zones and self-manage effectively.
- Able to manage internal and external teams to deliver against priority and plan.
- 10 years in a senior pre-sales role within Telco, Fintech or other technical solutions driven sector.
- A Bachelor/Master’s degree (or equivalent working experience) in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- The ability to provide compelling live product demonstrations & product presentations.
- Proven organizational and problem-solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution, even in stressful customer situations.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally and sometimes on short notice.
- Clear understanding of technical solutions and the value proposition that enables the customers' business to operate in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Excellent customer orientation and the ability to build and own strong relationships with client prospects of all levels and experience.
- The ability to work under pressure, demonstrating drive and a positive approach to work.
- Ability to learn and develop new skills whilst showing that you can prioritise work efficiently and productively and manage your time well.

Desirables
- Commercial technical sales experience, focusing RFP/RFI proposals.
- Experience of Restful API’s and Swagger.
- Ability to interpret third party systems and clearly document the interaction to/from Bango.
- Available for international and domestic travel.
- Existing senior contacts in relevant customer(s) and/or industries.
