Bango and Research In Motion have further expanded the ability for BlackBerry smartphone customers to pay for BlackBerry App World apps on their monthly bill.
Telefonica Germany, Tigo Colombia, Virgin UK and Vodacom South Africa are among the latest carriers to provide their BlackBerry® smartphone customers with a convenient and secure option to charge their purchases directly to their carrier bill. BlackBerry smartphone users will also be offered the flexibility of charging in-app purchases to their carrier bill, which allows for the purchase of digital goods to be made without interrupting the application experience.
More than 45 carriers around the world have now deployed integrated carrier billing for their customers on BlackBerry App World. We are pleased to help RIM by delivering these direct carrier connections.
