du, one of the largest operators in the UAE,  selected Bango to underpin its carrier billing across all app stores. The initial integration into the
Bango Payment Platform was completed in October 2014, with the Samsung GALAXY Apps store launching the same month. In quick succession Windows Phone Store, BlackBerry World and BlackBerry Messenger carrier billing were also activated through the Bango Platform integration. In June 2015 Google Play, the region’s most popular app store, was launched through the Platform.

“We’re already seeing three times as many transactions than previously, and this is without any PR or marketing support. Customers have come to this independently.”

At Bango we are dedicated to enabling the rapid scaling of carrier billing for app stores.
In the last 4 years there has been a big increase in the number of app stores able to offer carrier-billed payments to their customers. But there are many more opportunities to broaden availability. Bango believes that carrier billing is fundamental to the app store user experience. Through our platform-led approach, we are making great progress towards the goal of offering every user of any mobile app store the ability to pay for what they want.
The Bango Payment Platform speeds up the launch process that app stores use to activate carrier billing. It is pre-integrated with all the major app stores offering carrier-billed payments, so after a one-time integration into the Bango Platform, all the stores are technically integrated and available to activate. There are no complexities, no additional development to integrate each store, resulting in the fastest time to launch.
