Senior Marketing Manager – Payments (Fixed Term)About BangoBango technology enables online merchants to find more paying customers. To do this, Bango has developed a powerful platform that enables online merchants to offer alternative payment methods such as direct carrier billing and subscription bundling (think Netflix bought through your mobile provider). Responsibilities
Responsibilities- Work with VP of Marketing on diagnosis of the market opportunity, for existing verticals and new opportunities
- Work with VP of Marketing to refine marketing strategy and tactical choices and execution, specifically taking ownership of creating strategy and plans that focus on top of funnel and middle of funnel: lead generation, awareness (brand building) and conversion, creating plans, activities and tools that establish Bango as the go-to leader for subscriptions and bundling, focusing on the Digital Vending Machine® from Bango
- Strategy, oversight and contribution to lead generation, ABM campaigns and events
- Strategy, oversight and contribution to email marketing and nurture campaigns
- Strategy, oversight and contribution to website development, including SEO and creation of other lead gen materials and tools
- Strategy and oversight of social media plans and activities
- Strategy and oversight of PR campaigns and awareness
- Strategic oversight and management of Marketing Manager responsible for events, campaigns, social media, lead generation and Marketing Manager responsible for email campaigns, CMS (Marketo) optimization, website and PR
- Oversight of brand tracking, KPIs and other metrics
- Oversight of marketing budget
Essentials
Essential- Experience developing ABM (Account Based Marketing) plans for large organizations where deal cycles can be long, and target account numbers low (hundreds)
- Technology, Internet, and SaaS-savvy. You will show a passion for the markets in which Bango operates, you will develop deep knowledge of those market dynamics, you can become a product champion and leader.
- You are an leader and influencer, capable of engaging a wide spectrum of people in the business and partners outside of Bango to support you and help you be successful.
- 7+ years product marketing experience, including launching new products and building brand awareness and demand and lead generation
- Must be a self-starter capable of applying your own experience and curiosity to deliver on job role, and must embrace a collaborative, transparent and team based working environment
- Degree level education or equivalent practical experience.
- High energy and self-motivated personality that is fueled by success and opportunity.
- Business acumen to understand the fundamentals of Bango success through sales and customers. You must be curious, show critical thinking skills, and be an excellent communicator.
- This role is open geographically, if based out of the Cambridge area, the expectation is to travel to the office once a month minimum.
- While this role is initially set for a fixed term (7 months), we value your contributions and performance and may consider transitioning this position to a permanent role based on mutual agreement and organizational needs.

Desirables- Experience working with Telcos and /or subscription services (e.g. Netflix, XBox game pass)
- Knowledge of Payments, telcos, subscription services (e.g. Netflix), SaaS platforms all an advantage
