David is responsible for the strategy, development, and delivery of Bango products and services. He ensures strong alignment between product vision and engineering execution, driving innovation and excellence across both disciplines. Leading teams of product managers, designers, and engineers, David focuses on delivering customer value through clear product direction, disciplined execution, and continuous improvement in how Bango defines, develops, and launches its products and capabilities.

As a lifelong technologist with a strategic mindset, David blends technical rigor with a pragmatic approach to innovation, ensuring that experimentation and data-driven decisions remain at the heart of Bango’s product culture. He joined Bango in early 2020 to lead the Cloud Transformation program, following senior roles at Velocix (formerly Nokia and Alcatel-Lucent), where he was Head of Advanced R&D. David brings experience across the entire product lifecycle, from concept and architecture to delivery and operations, ensuring consistency, scalability, and impact at every stage.

• What is your favorite thing to cook? I go a little over the top trying to cook the perfect steak at home, however I like cooking anything over a flame … real wood and charcoal cooking is the best!
• Favourite TV show? Robot Wars!
• What would people be most surprised to know about you? I’ll only eat sweetcorn “on the cob” (unless it’s been completely hidden!)
