Nathan is Bango’s Director of Finance, responsible for driving financial excellence across the business, spanning strategic planning, financial reporting, treasury management, compliance, and business partnering with senior leadership. Known for bringing calm authority and rigor to a fast-moving, AIM-listed business, Nathan combines technical expertise with a pragmatic approach to delivering high-quality financial information and supporting sound commercial decision-making.

Before joining Bango, Nathan held senior finance leadership roles at Sumitomo Corporation, where he managed finance across its energy, shipping, and industrial businesses. He also led European finance teams at AECOM, delivering complex finance transformation and reporting programs.

• What one piece of advice would you give your 10-year-old self? Keep calm and appreciate every moment. The road ahead has its challenges – but you’ll make it to 50 and beyond. Probably.
• If you could share a meal with two people from history, who would they be? Nelson Mandela and Fanny Crosby – two people who faced extraordinary hardship and responded with grace, purpose, and joy.
• If I could only ever appear in one film, what would it be? The Shawshank Redemption – playing Morgan Freeman’s character, Red. Calm, measured, and always the voice of reason.
